Terms of Service

Effective date:21st September, 2026

These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place with ENE Kitchen, operated by ENE Culinary LTD, a company registered in Nigeria. By browsing this site or placing an order, you're agreeing to them. If something here doesn't make sense or seems wrong, message us before ordering, we'd rather clear it up than have you order under the wrong impression.

Who we are

ENE Kitchen is a home-cooked food and fresh juice delivery business based in Lagos, Nigeria, operated by ENE Culinary LTD. Throughout this document, "we", "us" and "the kitchen" mean ENE Culinary LTD trading as ENE Kitchen.

Using this website

This site lets you browse the menu, build a cart, and start an order. It doesn't process payment and doesn't create an account for you, there's nothing to sign up for. You're free to browse and use the site as long as you don't try to disrupt it, scrape it, or use it for anything other than looking at or ordering food.

How ordering actually works

  • You add items to your cart and fill in your delivery details at checkout.
  • Confirming your order opens WhatsApp with your order pre-filled as a message to our business number.
  • Nothing is confirmed, and no payment happens, until that conversation on WhatsApp is complete. The website starts your order, WhatsApp finishes it. Final delivery cost, payment method and exact timing are agreed there, not on the site.
  • Placing an order through the site is a request to buy, not a guaranteed sale. We'll confirm on WhatsApp whether we can fulfil it as requested.

Pricing and delivery fees

  • Prices shown on the site are for the food itself, in Naira, and can change without notice, we're a small kitchen and ingredient costs move.
  • A minimum delivery fee applies depending on your area, shown at checkout. This is a floor, not a final figure, the actual delivery cost is confirmed with you on WhatsApp before your order is finalized.
  • We don't process any payment through this website. However you and the kitchen agree to pay, cash, transfer, or otherwise, is arranged directly between you and us.

Delivery

  • We deliver across Lagos, either through the business owner directly or a delivery rider we personally work with and trust, not a third-party dispatch service we don't know.
  • Available delivery dates reflect what the kitchen can actually manage that week. If a date isn't offered at checkout, it's because we can't commit to it, not an error.
  • Delivery times are estimates. Traffic, weather, and Lagos being Lagos mean we can't guarantee an exact arrival minute, but we'll keep you updated on WhatsApp if something's running late.
  • If you give us an address or contact details that turn out to be wrong or incomplete, and that causes a delay or a failed delivery, that's on the order, not on us, we'll work with you to sort it out, but it may mean a delay or an extra delivery attempt.

Cancellations and changes

  • Because everything is cooked fresh and to order, once we've confirmed your order and started preparing it, it generally can't be cancelled or changed. Ingredients bought and food cooked for your order can't be resold.
  • If you need to cancel or change something, message us on WhatsApp as early as possible, if we haven't started cooking yet, we'll do our best to accommodate it.

Refunds

We want you to be happy with what you ordered, and we also want to be upfront about what a refund does and doesn't cover.

You're entitled to a refund or a remake when:

  • The wrong item was delivered.
  • What arrived is spoiled, unsafe, or otherwise not fit to eat.
  • What you received doesn't reasonably match what you ordered.

If any of this happens, message us on WhatsApp as soon as you notice, ideally within an hour of delivery, with a photo where you can. We'll sort it out, a remake or a refund, whichever fits the situation.

A refund generally isn't available for:

  • Change of mind after your order has been confirmed and cooking has started.
  • Taste or seasoning preference, everyone's palate is different, and that's not the same as something being wrong with the food.
  • A delay caused by an address or contact detail you gave us that turned out to be incorrect.

Nothing in this section overrides any right you have under Nigerian consumer protection law. If in doubt, message us and we'll work it out directly rather than pointing at a policy.

Food safety and allergies

ENE Kitchen is a home kitchen, not a certified commercial facility, and we're upfront about that, it's part of what makes the food what it is. We take reasonable care in how we prepare and pack every order.

If you have an allergy or a dietary restriction, tell us in the notes field at checkout or on WhatsApp before we start cooking. We'll do what we reasonably can to accommodate it, but because our kitchen prepares a range of dishes in the same space, we can't guarantee any dish is completely free of cross-contact with other ingredients, including common allergens. If an allergy is serious, please weigh that before ordering.

Age

You should be at least 18 to place an order on this site. If you're younger than that, please have a parent or guardian place the order for you.

Intellectual property

The design, layout, photography, and written content on this site belong to ENE Culinary LTD. You're welcome to share a link to the site or a specific page, but please don't copy the site's content, design, or photography for your own use without asking us first.

Limitation of liability

We're a small kitchen, not a large company with a legal department, so this section is about being reasonable in both directions. We're responsible for the food we prepare and deliver being what we said it is. We're not responsible for indirect losses, like a missed event or a ruined plan, if a delivery is late or an order doesn't work out, beyond making it right on the order itself as described in section 7 (Refunds).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the business grows or changes. If we do, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site or place orders after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any dispute arising from them falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State.
